Sequins have been an incredibly popular look for quite a while now.  Sequined looks are especially good for the holidays, because they take a little black dress and make it festive!  Katrina Bowden from 30 Rock was out in New York recently in a beautiful boat neck sequin dress with half-length sleeves.  She kept in simple with hardly any jewelry and classic ankle strap platform pumps.
