Rachel Bilson and Kate Bosworth both manage to make a boring crew neck sweater look chic!
Rachel was on her way out of town at LAX in an Aran knit sweater and Kate was doing some shopping at Barney’s in LA in what looks to be an angora blend knit.
Here’s a traditional Aran Knit sweater similar to Rachel’s, made with British wool. Aran Sweater in Cream British Wool, $49.
Kate’s sweater is difficult to find. Here is one that is somewhat similar although with a scoop neck and it is cashmere/silk, with no angora so it doesn’t have the same fuzzy look. Victoria’s Secret Silk & Cashmere Boyfriend Sweater, Sale $49.

Jennifer Garner is a mom of two little girls, but she still manages to look great running around town for errands!
You can get a similar look with this Vince Sweater that is on sale right now at Saks! Vince Cashmere Tie-Back Sweater, Regular Price $245, Sale Price $147. The gorgeous color similar to Jennifer’s is called ‘Rhubarb’. The neckline dips in the back, but has a tie so it won’t fall off your shoulders. It has the same drapey and super comfy look as Jennifer’s sweater.
Jen’s jeans are skinny of course, to tuck into boots, their dark wash is accented with contrast stitching. These 7 For All Mankind Skinny Stretch Jeans, $149 would work quite well!
Jen’s Dior bag is covetable indeed, in gorgeous quilted leather with metal detailed handles, but it will set you back $2,000+. So a great compromise is this Dior Panarea Medium Tote, $940. It’s real DIOR first of all, but it’s a lot less expensive because it’s made with a quilted coated canvas and it’s a ‘tote’ not a ‘handbag’ so the top doesn’t zipper and the inside isn’t as nice, but for over $1,000 less I’d say a good deal and still super stylish!

Rachel Bilson was out and about in LA, ready for the rain! She paired her Hunter boots with distressed jeans and a big comfy sweater.
For a similar look, here is a wonderful wool/cashmere blend sweater from J. Crew. It looks like it would be so comfortable, almost like wearing a blanket! J. Crew Open Shawl Collar Cardigan, $118. I also really like the big pockets.
Pair with some jeans that would be easy to tuck into the rain boots, like these AG Stilt Jeans in 13 Years Destroyed, $177.75.
Here are the classic Hunter Rain Boots, $125. You can’t go wrong with these. They are the most popular rain boots!
Her bag with the interesting print appears to be a fabric shopping tote. Those are great so you don’t have to take paper or plastic bags when you’re shopping. I’d choose something a bit more subtle, something like this: Ballard Go Green Tote, $5.00.

Nicole looks relaxed and chic at a book signing for her new book, Priceless, in a chunky-knit long turtleneck sweater, tights and some cool boots. What a great look for a Fall day!
You can get a similar look with this Hanii Y Arista Sweater, $490. It has a cool fold-over turtleneck and zipper detailing. It’s long enough to wear as a sweater dress.
You could wear this sweater with leggings, or tights as Nicole is wearing. The best tights hands down are Wolford’s Velvet Tights, $54.
If you look closely at Nicole’s boots, they look like her very own House of Harlow line, the ‘Leslie’ Platform Booties in the black lace option. You can see her boots better here:

This Fall, over the knee boots are so popular! Hilary Duff was out and about recently wearing a gorgeous black pair with leggings and a casual sweater.
You can get a similar look with these: Topshop BARLEY2 Over Knee Leather Boots, $230
If you don’t already have some basic leggings in your wardrobe, then you must get some. They’re so versatile and perfect for tucking into all sorts of boots. Here’s a basic and affordable pair from the Gap, Stretch Knit Leggings, $19.50.
Pair with a slouchy sweater like this one from Victoria’s Secret: Silk/Cashmere Boyfriend Sweater, $49. It’s shown here in a blush tone, but it’s also available in winter white to get a look like Hilary’s.
For the finishing touches, add some statement earrings and a dark trendy nail polish like Revlon’s Steel-her Heart Color 907, $4.79.
Grab a big black tote and you’re all set to go – - out for a chic day of errands, etc.
