 I have been scouring the net for something similar all week and the only dress I could find that resembled it was another Dolce & Gabbana.  However, this D&G can be found at renttherunway.com.  For one week a very similar style Dolce & Gabbana dress can be all yours for a fraction of the price.  And honestly, how often do you wear an evening gown?

While saving over $1000 on this fabulous, luxurious dress, I would reccomend splurging on a clutch that adds sparkle to any occasion.  One the blue carpet Jennifer used a plain Burberry clutch but I prefer this beaded Badgley Mischka, which retails for #395 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Wednesday night kicked off NYC’s fashion week with Heart Truth, where all of the models adorned red dresses to promote the awareness of heart disease (the number one killer amongst women).    The lovely ladies above (Katrina Bowden in Oscar de la Renta; Cat Deeley in Alberta Ferretti; Camilla Alves in Nicole Miller) are my personal favorites.

The dresses above are the alternative versions to the runway.  On the left is an alive + olivia dress that can be purchased through alive + olivia or rented on renttherunway.com for a mere $50.  The middle dress is a laundry by Shelli Segal and can be purchased through Lord & Taylor for $295.  Lastly, the dress on the right is also designed by laundry and can be purchased on zappos.com for only $270.
